1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of AltHost — the websites, applications, and services operated by AltHost (“AltHost”, “we”, “us”) at althost.network and related domains (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and age verification

The Services are for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and must complete identity and age verification before participating in any AltHost community. We may decline, suspend, or revoke access where verification cannot be completed or is found to have been falsified.

3. Accounts and identity

You agree to provide accurate information, to maintain one account per person, and to keep your credentials secure. Your verified status may travel with you across AltHost communities; the underlying verification documents do not — see the Privacy Policy for how verification data is handled.

4. Communities and their operators

AltHost hosts communities operated by independent clubs, venues, event organizers, and creators (“Operators”). Operators set their own membership criteria, rules, and prices, which apply in addition to these Terms. Operators are responsible for their events and venues, including compliance with the laws that apply to them. AltHost provides the platform; Operators run their communities.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree to the following:

• Only lawful, consensual conduct and content.
• No harassment, stalking, doxxing, or outing of any person.
• No content involving minors in any context, real or implied.
• No non-consensual recording or sharing of any person.
• Respect community rules and the privacy of other members.
• Public surfaces of the Services must remain safe-for-work.

6. Member content

You retain ownership of content you post. You grant AltHost and the relevant Operator a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Services as needed to operate them. We remove content that violates these Terms and honor lawful takedown requests.

7. Payments and fees

Paid features — membership dues, event tickets, subscriptions, and platform fees — are processed by third-party payment providers suited to the adult category. Prices, refund terms, and payout schedules are disclosed at the point of purchase or in Operator agreements. Taxes are your (or the Operator’s) responsibility as applicable.

8. Safety reports and moderation

The Services include reporting and moderation tooling. Safety reports are attributable and appealable, and are scoped to the community in which they are made; AltHost does not operate anonymous cross-community ban lists. We may act at the platform level in cases of severe violations, illegal content, or risk to any person.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts or communities that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AltHost is in early access; features may change, and availability is not guaranteed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AltHost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to AltHost in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. [Placeholder — to be reviewed by counsel.]

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the United States and a state to be designated in the final version of this document. Dispute-resolution terms (including any arbitration provisions) are placeholders pending counsel review.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. If a change is material, we will give notice — by email or in-product — before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
